I hate Flu season!!!! A little over two weeks ago Baby-Girl went down with a 101 degree fever for about three days. Then last week while on a business trip I went down for two days with a 105 degree temp and return home to a painful sinus infection.
Now, I get home tonight and Little-Man is down hard with a 101.8 temp. This year’s Flu season is vicious and is taking no prisoners in our household!!!!
Continuing with building a faith based foundation in the kids we find that Baby-Girl’s first Eucharist fast approaching. That means plenty of preparation for that special day.
I always get a kick out of things that make me think of my Kids. Like seeing my daughter’s unique name on a license plate in California.

One thing about cutting out soda completely from your choices, is that it forces you to look for good, healthy alternatives.
I took a leap of faith and found something that was both healthy and quite yummy. Who would have thunk it?
The mission to eat healthy in 2013 continues. Still no Soda this year and healthy choices are almost second nature. Tonight the choice to eat left me few options. Pizza, Burgers and Tacos. My choice was the lesser evil of all of them. A nice 9-Oat Grain Bread sandwich from Subways with more veggies than meat. No soda and only water. It was good!
Here’s the thing about Social Media. some people either Love It or Hate It. I appreciate it for what it has done to keep me in touch with old friends I spent special times with.
Like this Mötley Crew of bandits whose whole goal was to bring the feeling of home entertainment to the heart of Japan. On this day, I received a phone call out of the blue from one of the members in this picture who I hadn’t heard from in the 20 years since I left them.
We have since connected on FaceBook and so have many of the others in this picture. Many of us may be older and wider, but during that conversation of old times we were right back were we left off.

Man Down! An itchy throat on Friday flared up into an all out Flu episode. Trip to local hospital confirmed it. That and the 104.9 temp. Two Tylenol and a script for Tamiflu and I was on my way. An hour later temp was back to normal.
Airports are pretty cool places if you just look around. You never know who you might see. This time it was Neil deGrasse Tyson renowned Astrophysicist and regular comedic guest of Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert.
